"'Alfred' was created as an experiment --
One day I was thumbing through Vanity Fair and there was a picture of
Hitchcock's famous silhouette. I started with the silhouette, and without
referencing any other pictures of Hitchcock, created this mask. It was
never meant to be Hitchcock per se, but 'Alfred' does share some of his
progenitor's personality quirks."
