Pantalone is the top of the pecking order in the Commedia world; he is money. But he has lost his ability to make more money (just as he often has lost his virility -- though not his desire), and he is the greediest, most miserly character imaginable. If he doesn't get his way he is prone to temper tantrums. This Pantalone is created in Neoprene, a non-toxic, semi-rigid latex. The design is a compilation based on many etchings and paintings.
